MINR SURVIVOR
Based heavily on the actual TV show, this is a game of challenges and social politics. Your objective is to survive the vote until the finals and then convince the people you've eliminated that you are the most deserving winner.
TRIBES AND CHALLENGES
At the beginning, you will be grouped into tribes. We will be playing this One World style, so you can talk publicly or privately with everyone else in the game, but you’ll also have a chat just for your tribe members.
Every cycle, the tribes will compete in an Immunity Challenge. The winner(s) will be safe, while the losing tribe will go to Tribal Council (explained in the next section). Challenges will be updated after the required players take their turn or when 24 hours have passed. Failing to act within the 24 hours will result in no action being taken. If you continue to miss your turns, you may be penalized or replaced.
The tribes aren't necessarily set in stone. It's always possible that a Tribe Swap could happen, changing the players on each tribe or even the number of tribes.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
This is where the real meat of the game happens. The losers of the Immunity Challenge go here, where they’ll be forced to vote out one of their own.
Tribal Council lasts until all votes are submitted or 24 hours have passed. You cannot abstain from voting. If you don't submit a vote in the 24 hours, you will selfvote; if it keeps happening, you may be penalized or replaced. If you want to change your vote before they're all in, you may. Votes will be submitted privately to me, then revealed publicly at the expense nd without saying who cast each vote. The person with the most votes will be eliminated from the game.
If there is a tie, everyone outside of it will be given another 24 hours to revote between the tied players. The tied players themselves will not revote. If the tie isn't broken, a deadlock will happen. This will be explained in the Special Rules section.
Don't wait until you get here to start playing strategically! Make sure you reach out to people, form alliances if you have to, and think about who you do and don't want in the game going forward. There can only be one winner in the end, so it's your job to convince people that it's in their best interest to keep you around while voting out the right targets. Be careful, though; alliances aren't binding, and backstabbing happens a lot!
THE POSTMERGE
The merge happens after a certain number of people have been voted out. The tribes will combine into one, and tribal chats and challenges will be no more. From here on, people will compete for immunity individually. Everyone will vote at tribal council, including the immunity winner, but everyone else will be unable to vote for them. The players must also keep in mind here that the jury could begin at any time. The merged tribe will continue voting people off until two or three (depending on the number of signups) people are left, and they will face the jury in the Final Tribal Council.
THE JURY
The jury will be made up of the last several people voted out of the game. They will have access to all confessionals and be able to consult each other in their own sub-board. They will evaluate each finalist and, at the Final Tribal Council, question them about the game they played and whether they should win. Then the jury will vote for a winner instead of against a player, and whoever gets the most votes will be crowned the Sole Survivor.
There is no set criteria for how the jurors should decide their votes. It's up to them what they want to prioritize the most, whether it's strategy, challenge performance, loyalty, some mix of the above, or anything else. But be prepared for the responsibility of possibly being a juror if you're in this game. In addition, make sure you're not just trying to get to the end, but creating a jury that will actually vote for you. How you handle them and demonstrate what you’ve done is crucial. Your confessional will be useful for the latter.
SPECIAL RULES
Advantages
There may be chances to find special advantages in the game. The most well-known kind is the Hidden Immunity Idol, which can be played on oneself or anyone else before the votes are read, nullifying all votes against that person. These can normally be played at any point up to the final 5 and never on revotes.
There are other types of advantages that have been seen, such as extra votes, vote steals, idol nullifiers, and variants on the idol. Be prepared for a couple of wrenches to be thrown in.
Deadlock Votes (Pre-Final Four)
If a tie isn't broken on a revote, a deadlock is announced. The players will be given one last 24-hour period to openly discuss who to vote out. If the non-tied players can come to a public, unanimous decision on who to vote out, that player will be eliminated. If even one person dissents, the cost is high: the tied players will become immune, and all non-immune players will randomly draw rocks. The person who picks the wrong rock will be eliminated.
Deadlock Votes (Final Four)
If there's a deadlock at the final four, the open discussion and rock draw rules won't apply; instead, the tied players will compete in an elimination challenge.
GENERAL THOUGHTS
This game should be fairly long if there are enough people. Keep this in mind when considering if you’ll have the time to join.
Remember that this is not Mafia. You're ultimately playing for yourself, not for a team.
You will probably be lied to. People may not hold up their end of deals. Just remember that it's all (hopefully) in the spirit of the game. Dishonesty is allowed; excessive toxicity is not.
Stay alert, be cautious with everyone, and above all, never give up.
